Allowing the Youth to Lead the Way

2025 Reflection #1 - One of the greatest highlights of this year was watching @la__voice's youth cohort in action as they stated their issues and proposed policies at Assemblymember Issac Bryan's office in Sacramento during the All Children's Thrive Conference. These students from South LA are teaching other students how to organize and advocate for justice and they walked into this office with great preparation, courage and leadership. Our youth's voices matter and we need to keep opening spaces for them to take the lead and amplify their issues. There is a wealth of untapped opportunities ahead that can reshape what’s possible for our students and the next generation. So let's get tapping!
