Let’s talk about CAREER PATHWAYS on KVCR.

I am so honored to have joined Yvette M. Walker on the KVCR Public Media I.E. Latino Voices program last week!

I am grateful for the opportunity to share insights about the Lewis-San Antonio Healthy Communities Institute and our commitment to workforce development, health education, and improving community health. At San Antonio Regional Hospital, we recognize that healthcare goes beyond hospital walls—it’s about empowering communities with knowledge, access, and opportunities to build healthier futures.

From creating career pathways in healthcare to addressing social determinants of health, our work is rooted in collaboration and and a dynamic team in Population Health! I’m incredibly proud of the impact we’re making and grateful for the chance to discuss these important topics on the show.

A huge thank you to Yvette Walker and KVCR for highlighting the work being done to improve the well-being of our region. Let’s keep the conversation going—what initiatives do you think are key to building healthier, more resilient communities?
