Tinker Club - a STEM program

I had a great conversation with Meline from Tinker Club, who works closely with Glendale Unified School District to bring hands-on, creative STEM learning into our schools. These kinds of programs don’t just spark curiosity, but they help students build confidence, problem-solving skills, and real workforce pathways early on.

My kids enjoy being a part of her program and I would love to see how we can strengthen community partnerships so all GUSD students can get excited about STEM programs.

As a candidate for Glendale Unified School District, I believe strong public schools are built through meaningful partnerships, equity-driven access to opportunity, and listening to the people doing the work alongside our educators and students. Conversations like these ground my commitment to ensuring every student (regardless of background) has access to innovative learning experiences that prepare them for the future.

Grateful for the dialogue, the ideas shared, and the shared goal of helping our students thrive. #teamdinkjian #gusd #glendale @tinkerclub_ #stem #stemeducation
