This weekend, I had the joy of attending @senatorsrp’s Holiday Toy Drive. Moments like these remind me how important it is to work in partnership with our elected leaders on the issues that directly impact our schools and students.
From school safety and accountability through SB 848, to expanding real-world pathways for students through SB 845 youth apprenticeships, these policies matter for the future of every child.
Long before she was elected, I had the opportunity to sit down with Senator Perez to discuss teacher and student well-being. District 25 has consistently shown up for Glendale schools, and those conversations—alongside the leadership of Senator Anthony Portantino—have been critical in advancing policies that strengthen public education.
